Our software will usually run on just about any regular Microsoft windows computer, even laptops, running Windows 7 or later. For larger operations, the SMARTSystem run on Windows Servers 2008/2012/2016, with a local area network running Windows 7, 8 or 10 PC’s. SMARTSystem can also run on a single or linked system of Win 7/8/10 computers. The amount of data you have will determine the type of the hardware you'll need. Call one of our sales reps for specific information. We recommend a minimum of 4 GB memory for workstations.
No. The software works very well with keyboard and mouse. Touch screen capability is included in the software and can be used to improve the efficiency of your sales staff if you have touch screen capable devices.
No. The SMARTSystem is designed to work very well with QuickBooks, Sage and many other accounting software systems. The advantage of using QuickBooks is the seamless, built-in integration that we have developed in the SMARTSystem that makes it so easy to use. We can also program the SMARTSystem to work with Sage and other accounting software systems.
Yes. The software is modular and with some changes each truck would use a tablet PC and/or laptop to operate a wireless network and print an invoice on each truck. Depending on your needs, information can be transferred between the truck and main computer.
Yes. You can automatically set up to 5 customer price levels with pre-determined profit margins, based on the customer. Prices can be overridden by the salesperson. This does not include volume discounts.
A. Yes. Although you may generate several orders during the day, the software will identify these and can produce a single invoice for your customer. Consolidated invoices will correctly handle Delivery/Freight charges and optional charges such as Fuel Surcharges.
Yes. All product information can be made available, allowing sales staff to handle requests for any mixture of product categories. One salesperson can create a pick ticket for fresh cut flowers, fresh cut foliage, greenhouse and/or supplies or they can be generated from each area. The pick ticket prints items sold by category and the pick tickets can be consolidated when invoiced.
Yes. The software was developed after an extensive survey of growers, wholesalers and importers. As designed, it will solve the inventory and accounting issues common to your area of the industry. We recognize that a “one size fits all” philosophy cannot accommodate all practices, so we are ready to customize as required to suit your specific needs.
